Den Architecture sponsor Meanwood Cricket Club

Den Architecture is proud to be getting involved with our local community, by sponsoring Meanwood Cricket Club in Leeds for the upcoming season.

As part of our sponsorship, we will be providing kits for the two senior teams and all six junior teams. We will also be providing assistance with the refurbishment of the existing clubhouse.

Our sponsorship with Meanwood Cricket Club has come about through our very own Harpreet Syan, who plays for the club!

Cricket in Meanwood has a long history – this year, celebrating a total of 175 years’ worth of games! In that first recorded game on Wednesday 22nd September 1847, the Meanwood Club defeated The Swan by a whopping 34 runs on the Meanwood Cricket Ground. They moved to Parkside Road in 1895 and have enjoyed playing cricket here ever since.
