Den Architecture secures Planning Approval on high profile student scheme in Lincoln

Den Architecture is pleased to have secured planning approval on a high-profile student scheme on Firth Road, Lincoln.

The proposed scheme is to develop a dedicated student accommodation area with an emphasis on incorporating quality amenity areas and useable green space. There will be circa 590 bed spaces set within a number of house types and apartments ranging from Studios to 4 Bedroom houses.

The architecture of the house types has been influenced by a combination of the local context and contemporary styling. With large openings and an emphasis on natural light the residential units are well suited to home working.

The proximity of large residential areas to the east and south of the site influenced the material choice of red brick however, the varied use of this brick along with grey brick recessed accents and mansard style roofs creates more contemporary aesthetics whilst keeping the proposal rooted within the area.
