Full planning approval on Harrogate care home, Vida Court
Den Architecture is delighted to announce we have received full planning approval for a brand new Vida Healthcare care home, Vida Court in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
Vida Court is Den Architecture’s 2nd Care Home for Vida and will continue the forward thinking approach to Dementia Care. Whilst the building is contemporary in form, unlike the contemporary approach to the external appearance at the applicants previous dementia care home, Vida Grange in Pannal, a more traditional approach has been taken for this scheme in terms of the external aesthetic.
A ‘Georgian’ feel has been developed with brickwork and stone external walls, stone surrounds to hole in the wall windows and horizontal stone bands at floor and parapet levels. In addition, projecting stone bay windows are incorporated which both creates visual interest and break up to the long north and south elevations, leading to an external aesthetic of quality and grandeur.
