Stephen Armitage hangs up his setsquare!

After over 40 years of service to the world of architecture with the last 8 years alongside us, Steve Armitage has decided to lay down his Rotring pens and scale ruler for the final time.

It has been an absolute pleasure to have Steve work with us, his knowledge and expertise have been the basis upon many decisions and something we have all learned from.

Steve was critical for us on several schemes where his leadership captivated and inspired the team. Phoenix - Leeds, Station Parade – Harrogate, Jubilee Hotel – Leeds to name a few.

His humour and understanding of team moral made many stressful situations seem less so and much more manageable.

Anyone who has ever worked with Steve will know that he has numerous sayings that he reels off regularly with comedic timing. It’s safe to say his legacy is secured at Den Architecture as we all now use these ‘Steve-isms!’

It gives us great pleasure to say thank you Steve. You will be well and truly missed!
