A planning application has been submitted for a contemporary housing development in Otley, with stunning views over the Lower Warfe Valley.

The development has been designed with the stunning views in mind, by incorporating large openings throughout to maximise the available daylight and bring the Valley inside. Flat green roofs and locally sourced Yorkshire stone help ground the contemporary homes within the site, helping it to become part of the surrounding Yorkshire countryside.

Another key feature of the design was to minimise the mass of the houses, allowing views directly through the site to further increase the visibility of the Valley.
